Galilea is an aerospace lifestyle brand based out of Connecticut, USA. It was formed to support the education and dreams of women in aviation.
Inspired by Christina Koch and the launch of Artemis II, Teresa Jack decided it was time to pursue an education in flight training, something she had dreamed of since childhood. But she still faced the financial barriers that existed as she dreamed of flying the airplane as a teenager growing up near an airport. With decades of experience as a creative director and merchandiser, Teresa had an idea.
Artemis II put global visibility on women in STEM—women who were completely underserved in the fashion realm with the market offerings. Searching the web, Teresa could hardly find anything that was elegant, scientific, and classy. So, sketchpad in hand, she decided to give the aerospace industry the Ralph Lauren treatment it deserved. Her hand-drawn History of NASA Toile made waves across the scientific community, and Galilea was born.
Galilea is retailed in several museum gift shops across the globe, providing women who love space with classy, elegant options to showcase their wonder and feel included in a field that has traditionally erased them.
